German-Azerian Financial Cooperation. Development of Municipal Infrastructure. Lease Contract for the Operation of the Water Supply Systems of the City of Imisli and related Consulting services 10/2000-10/2010
10 years lease contract with a 2 year antecedent reconstruction and extension phase of the water production and distribution facilities incl. water meter installation for all a total population of about 50.000.Accompanying measures under Education, Training and Engineering contract.
Tasks:
- Engineering: Design, tendering and construction supervision for well field, main transmission, pumping and chlorination station, water distribution network and house connection incl. Meter chambers
- Education and Training: Development and strengthening of general and operational management skills and day to day operational tasks, class room and on the job training in Germany and Azerbaijan
- Operation: Full scope of water supply and administrative services - Operation, Investment, Maintenance, Public Relation, Business planning, Accounting and MIS, warehousing, Reduction of NRW and UAW Contract under responsibility of German KfW Bank and funding under the German-Azerian financial cooperation agreement.
